Velocity's research site in Vestal partners with Endwell Family Physicians to conduct clinical trials for a broad range of investigational treatments. Research studies at this site explore vaccines and medicines developed to treat migraines, diabetes, acne, depression, high cholesterol, and other conditions. Acquired by Velocity in 2022, the Vestal location conducted clinical trials for years, first with Regional Clinical Research, then as part of Meridian Clinical Research.
Through the partnership with Endwell Family Physicians, the site is easily accessible to thousands of patients in Vestal and Endwell, including those established with the practice. All trials conducted at the site are performed in accordance with ICH and FDA guidelines, and in compliance with GCP. Our Vestal team is committed to being a resource for study participants, to providing the highest quality of patient care with compassion and kindness, and to advancing medicine through research.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Patel received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed family medicine residencies at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, New York State Academy of Family Physicians, Broome County Chapter of New York State Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, New York State Medical Society, and Broome County Medical Society. -

Board certified in family medicine and osteopathic medicine, Dr. Lorraine received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY and completed a family medicine residency at Binghamton General Hospital, in Binghamton, NY. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, and New York State Osteopathic Medical Society. -

Board Certified in family medicine, Dr. Frederico received his medical degree from Toura College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, NY and completed a family medicine residency at United Health Services Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. He serves as a Medical Advisor at SUNY Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Frederico is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and New York State Osteopathic Medical Society. -
