Katie Vale-Freeburg is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and dedicated Sub-Investigator at Velocity Clinical Research in Cincinnati, OH (Mt. Auburn). She brings a wealth of experience and passion to the field of clinical research. With a Master of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Katie combines her strong clinical background with a deep commitment to advancing healthcare through research.
Katie’s journey in research began during her undergraduate studies when she was inducted into the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society, igniting a strong desire to contribute to scientific advancement. Today, she is passionate about making medications safe and accessible to everyone, considering it an honor to be part of the scientific process that develops therapies with the potential to change outcomes for people globally.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Katie has been a long-time volunteer with Special Olympics, demonstrating the way she champions inclusivity and community service. Her unique blend of clinical expertise, research acumen, and compassionate approach makes her a valuable leader for a diverse range of clinical trials.
